Sibling Clubhouse
Sibs take over the store! Sibling Clubhouse is a friendship-building, sibling-only hangout that meets monthly at the Autism Community Store.
Our kids with autism often have so many things to do and places to go -- therapies, appointments, etc....While these may not all be fun destinations, siblings can sometimes wonder why they don't have so many special things to do. Sibling Clubhouse was made just for them. It's a free, monthly gathering exclusively for siblings! We have a core group of siblings who look forward each month to seeing their friends, playing games, eating snacks and just being themselves -- and they love welcoming new members! It's a place where everyone "just gets it."
Our siblings make cool things, play fun games, and laugh a lot. They also participate in store events, like the annual Halloween Party and Autism Resource Fair -- working together and feeling very much like they belong.
Sibling Clubhouse supports our brothers and sisters and the community.
Sibling Clubhouse meets the first Saturday of each month and we are always adding new members! For more information, please contact the Autism Community Store at 303-309-3647.
Because Sibling Clubhouse is peer-facilitated, it is only appropriate for kids who are able to meet their basic needs independently and behave responsibly with minimal adult supervision. Members should also be old enough to talk meaningfully about their experience as a sibling.
