Sensory Cave

A Sensory Cave is a peaceful multi-sensory environment. Sometimes referred to as Snoezelen rooms, these spaces can be incredibly calming for individuals with autism and Sensory Processing Disorder. Sensory Caves can also be comforting for people with Alzheimer's, PTSD, and truly anyone whose sensory system has become overloaded with the demands of everyday life. The Autism Community Store has searched for products to help families create their own affordable Sensory Caves in small spaces or a corner of a room.
