Description
"My book shares what I have learned: that people with autism are important to our community and have challenged me (in the best of ways) to think outside the box, reexamine the power of my words, and appreciate the little things.
I wrote Z is for Zip because I care about creating a safe environment that appreciates children who behave and think differently. Autistic children (and their siblings) deserve supportive communities, and that starts with insisting that children develop a healthy and realistic understanding of what autism spectrum disorder is, and how to help those who have it.
I hope you enjoy it!
