Description
These sensory resistance tunnels help your child develop body awareness and motor planning as they stretch and crawl their way through from one end to the other. The crawling is terrific "heavy work" and provides loads of sensory input. Resistance tunnels provide wonderful therapy to children with Autism as well as those diagnosed with PDD, Asperger's, Tuberous Sclerosis, ADD/ADHD, or any other disorder causing sensory dysfunction. The sensory resistance tunnel is approximately 6' x 24" and has openings on both sides. Nylon handles on one end allow a peer, parent or therapist to hold the tunnel open for the child to crawl through, creating opportunities for social interaction and turn-taking.
