The Art of Autism showcases the work of 77 Autistic artists and poets from around the world, four of which whom were selected by the United Nations for Autism Awarness Stamps for World Autism Day in 2012. Each piece is accompanied by commentary from a renowned essayist, with the book focusing on positive aspects of Autism and Asperger's that are often overlooked in mainstream media. The author, Debra Hosseini, also shares her experiences with her own son Kevin, who is on the spectrum.
